Judy Brazil (Nee- Halleran), from a family of 14 children, is from Trepassey on the Southern Shore of the Avalon Peninsula. Judy began singing in public at the tender age of 11. Since then she
has performed at hundreds of weddings, numerous concerts and festivals
and is planning to perform at other events in the future. Judy has performed an opening act for Ireland's Paddy Rielly at the Arts and Culture Centre in 2002.

In 2003, Judy was named "Citizen of the Year" for her volunteer work within the community of Trepassey and again in 2009. She is a choir director at Trepassey Church where she
has directed St. Patrick's Concerts for the past 15 years and has
written the scripts and played musical instruments for a number of
these concerts. |
